The popular phrase 'thinking outside the box', means that the person is inviting a new idea beyond what society may expect or think, beyond what we consider the normal. The 'box', symbolising society and the rules of ideas and imagination, how you have been taught to think. The ability to do this is not something we develop the more we grow older and become used to our own thoughts and brain, it is something we lose as we grow older. When we're younger, all of our thoughts were unique to our own ideas, how we interpreted the world and ideas was in our own way. When we grow older, we are socialised by schools and society around us who has taught us how to think, and we train our brains to make the thought connections expected from offers. We are so used to this pattern of thought that we don't even recognise the structure. In today's clarity blog, I will be explaining what it means to think outside the box and how to train the brain to think outside more often.

In order to understand what is outside the box we must know what inside and how conditioned our minds have become. The trail of thought we have learned is created to benefit our education and lives, teaching us how to respond to situations in a way which make logical and practical sense. Which serves a purpose, thinking inside the box is a lot like swimming in a pool from north to south, straight and narrow. Swimming like this is good since you are getting the right exercise and preventing yourself from drowning, as well as training your abilities. Thinking outside the box, is not a straight line of thought, it changes and varies and it has freedom. It's like a swimmer deciding to swim around the entire pool and exploring areas.

An in the box thought process and line of thought looks like when you arrange a meeting the questions you ask always is 'what, when, how, who, where', we want to know all these things since it is what is practical. However, an example of thinking outside the box when arranging a meeting is thinking about firstly thinking about the weather and whether the birds will be in the sky. It is completely of the idea itself of arranging a meetup, it goes on a different trail of thought which is completely ridiculous. Of course this example is unrealistic. But there are times where it is appropriate to think outside the box, for instance in creative craft like deciding how to decorate, when considering philosophical ideas or analysing something. Or even when deciding to describe things.
In Order to think outside the box, we must instead of immediately thinking of the practicalities of a object, person, idea, thought or imagery. We don't want o know the meaning of things or what that obidea is, we want to expand the idea into something abstract. We require an imagination for this process, and also we need to understand what our regular train of thought is. We may consider an animal like a giraffe, and consider why does it exist and what it's purpose. Our first thoughts may go into evolution and the cycle of life and how it;s neck has evolved. However, we want to think outside, how the neck of a giraffe is essential to a giraffe, without it's neck the animal will look lonely and sad. This example may wierd, but this method embraces our own madness and how concepts in our brains have the capacity to be whatever we want. MXLLS
A way to start thinking outside of the box, is to consider a concept, idea or thought. And instead of focusing on practical things, like what it is, what it does or what it means. In Fact explore the possibilities of that thing or idea, consider the detail offers fail to recognise and what you can add. This thought require you considering the idea in a creative way. So, for example consider how something as simple as a stapler works, what is looks like and generally what use it is. First think inside the box. Consider how a stapler looks like a crocodile with teeth, and this crocodile is in a sea off offer objects in the office. It must feel outnumbered and lonely. Exaggerate the idea, using personification and giving an object human emotions is a create tool for thinking outside the box. It may feel odd, however it's often S
