Nerves – How to control yourself when you feel out of control.

Nervousness is an emotion we all feel within our lives; we all get nerves for different reasons. The sensation feels like a surge of strong energy, causing us to completely panic inside yet remain frozen at the same time. Nerves are the result of feeling so unstable internally, so much so that the energy of nervousness is introduced to cause us to recognize that your situation and thoughts aren’t right. That something about what’s going on is testing your what little stability you have. It’s a battle inside on what decision to make, action to take or what thoughts to think to deal in a situation which may cause you to risk yourself. Its intense, and the feeling of nerves like most emotions has a way of effecting your outlook on what’s going on more than any other emoting because your brain has been switched into survival mode. In today’s clarity blog we will be looking at nerves, and how to control them.

Consider a stressful, or daunting or scary situation where you felt a lot of nerves. The second we consider our own nervousness we can almost feel it sitting and growing in our hearts. Think of the types of thoughts we may have felt in that moment. How everything becomes a blur, as all this blood rushes to our heads. In this situation, I bet it was a result of over thinking, stressing or fearing an outcome which is about to happen or might happen. When were in the limbo between something which is about to happen we are tapping into that unstableness inside of us. Our brains like actual events, which are easier stored as memory and experienced ell with thought, when there’s no actual event taking place yet our brains aware of the risk. It feels unstable because we are vulnerable. The ego does not want to feel vulnerability, since who we are. Our concepts, views, beliefs and reputations are threatened, which is as much as a risk as death. No wonder they say when we are nervous we go into disaster mode.

The Energy of nervousness is so strong; it can be a fuel. It carries potential to be used in order to turn into anticipation. The term, sic’ing yourself up is described, when you begin to feel nerves when something positive may be taking place soon. You chant, dance and move that energy in order to feel better and ready. By filling it with pure excitement it is almost causing a build of good energy, which is allowing you to feel unstable still however it’s no longer a threat or a risk. Many professionals and creator out there thrive on this nervous sensations, because in their eyes they are living only when there on the edge. Theses personality types thrive on taking risks, both a beneficial and destructive trait. We can also feel nerves, when we want to avoid something in our lives. A fear, which is so painful for us, the nerves cause us to feel more energy so we can get away. If the fear is irrational, like the fear of being on stage, heights or the dark. Easing yourself to face it, and creating a plan to make yourself feel more stable when you face it. A plan on who’s around you when you face it, a thought or a song that can help you feel better anything. Find comfort in the uncomfortableness. And the Nerves caused by overthinking and worrying, focus on your breath and sensations. And tune into the pain which your causing yourself and create thoughts or focus on things which will cause you to feel temporary happiness. Which will help to bring yourself together.

To conclude, nerves is a particular energy which is causing you to recognize the instability within yourself. Your fear, you're overthinking, your anxiety. All of these feelings created to remind yourself of your mortality, and how vulnerable we all are in our instability. And the feeling is so powerful, since it can change your outlook on what’s taking place around you. The Key to dealing south nerves, is using that potential momentum build up inside yourself and change it into something positive. Allow yourself to become vulnerable, learn to accept it and face it and re-direct what we pay our attention to. Because what you focus on is what you become, when you consciously focused on is what your aiming to become.
