Equality – Does it exist?

In the world of political correctness, protection laws and the UN global promotion of education it seems as though humanity is slowly moving towards equality. Which is an amazing concept, that we all have equal opportunities in life, we all are equally entitled to the same laws and were all treated as equal by offers regardless of an ethnicity, gender, sexuality, age and nationality. It’s liberating to consider a world where equality exists, no prejudices, inequalities, discriminations, oppression or racism. Where we can simply be ourselves without having to stigma, label or expectations attached to you because of factors your born into. Which sounds great, and were moving towards it. We are under social regulations and expectation which make it so we don’t discriminate or act unfairly to offers. Yet it does not mean we live under an equal world. In today’s clarity blog I’m going to rant about equality, and wither it is achievable today and how we all have prejudice sides to us.

The social expectations, regulations and generally being polite to offers have reinforced the idea that we should be politically correct. That there are certain things we simply cannot say since it will offend someone which is enforced to prevent us from showing discrimination. Yet again we still get speared in the streets and newspapers racial discrimination, events were women are still discriminated against in the workplace. Which is surprising, how there is so much in place yet offers still ignore this. The most hateful people in this earth often experienced something which caused them to have hate when they were younger. Either they suffered a form of oppression or trauma and hold a bitterness within them. And the scenarios were people act hatful, is only going to further create a bad example. People only follow the bad example over fear, of a changing and diverse society. And that fear of changing views.

Yet we all have our own personal inequality’s. In how we act, we all feel as though a curtain ethnic group all are one way. It’s constantly installed in our brains either by the media, or by old views we haven’t sorted out yet. And it’s recognising them even If they are difficult and we don’t view ourselves as a hateful person. Just recognise the stereotypes we may have of a curtain ethnic group, gender or age group and maybe ourselves. Find them out, then find evidence which proves that the stereotype is wrong. Whether it means simple searching for celebrities which you would categories with that stereotype. And disprove it. For instance, I once had the belief that Black people can’t drive, this comes from experience were I have witnessed poor driving from observing a few bad black drivers. In all reality, I now know this is not true, Lewis Hamilton a famous race driver has superb driving skills. And I understand that a variety of people are bad drivers and not a specific group. Which is true.

Equality does not exist, there are areas in this world where people are related poorly because of their colour of their skin, gender, whether they have a disability or for their sexuality. This is a worldwide thing. As society ascends into a heart space world, this will slowly go. Yet it is a struggle, there are old values still exciting and a lot of struggle and backlash. Some don’t want to live in a liberated world. IT will take years, by his rate. Most stereotypes will decrease, as people change perspective and move into a positive heart space, where we are more loving to one enough.
