We make choices every day, some obscure and some challenging. The choices such as brushing your teeth, putting shoes on before you get out are all very easily made. Those decisions are made in autopilot mode, subconsciously done because our conscious mind are focusing on offer thoughts while doing those actions. It’s the tougher decisions in life are the ones more pre-mediated, thought out an and requiring both logic and intuition to make. Those are the decisions that count and form our personality’s and how offers view us and what we identify as. In today’s clarity blog we will be exploring decisions and choices, in a philosophical way as well as giving practical advice from experience.

The most meaningful and testing decisions we make all have one thing in common, which is the direction they will lead us in life. Decisions like what types of friends we connect to? from what university course to take? whether we remain at home or move onto a different location for work? All of those decisions causes our brain to try and predict what direction it will take us and which choice has the most benefits. We ask around for advice and consider offers in our thought process, or we research more to help us make the correct decisions. They can even go as far as to cause us to lose sleep, and may even take multiple month to conclude to the right decision. It is inevitable in this modern world to feel alone while making them and burdened. There are offer slightly minute but important decisions such as whether to apply for a mortgage or rent? Or how much work and revision you are willing to put in to achieve your goal? Yet those all rely on our morals and often they are determined by other outside factors and what level of maturity we are at. What are we ready for? It is important to make sure we don’t make the wrong meaningful and important decisions causing dysfunction and us to lose parts of our self-identity. Logical people know examples of bad decisions and Illogical people only consider what feels best in the moment.

The most rewarding decisions, are the choices that are the most difficult to take in the moment. Require more of you, cause you to take a curtain burden and have a certain responsibility to withhold. But they are the most rewarding because the push your mental potential and help you to learn more about yourself. The toughest decisions such as to take the most challenging university course? Or giving up takeaway nights and eating healthier? Or to choose to take more responsibility in the work place and take that promotion? All of those decisions truly test us. The decisions that cause us to give into comfort and conformity, the safest and the easiest decisions to make. Decisions like to party throughout university and give minimum effort? Or to not step up to become stricture as a parent and just let your kids get up to whatever mischief? Those decisions give into that inner wimp, that wants comfort and that It. Never leading to greater fulfilment. We all take a wimpy decision, that give us short term comfort and learned that we should have done more. And end up regretting them. Yet even the illogical wimpiest people ever take one risky decision and had that fulfilment and pride, yet quickly made the wrong choices. That’s life, and the tests it gives us. Everything happens for the right reasons regardless of what religion or lack of religion we believe in.

So, what I want you to take from this is that choices come in all shapes and sizes. Some incredible obscure decisions we make daily. And offers that are more thought through and determine the person we become, the logical one or the wimp. It’s important that we choice what’s right for us personally. That we focus on what will give us the most benefits regardless of what gives us the most comfort. Because we can never truly live a rewarding life without taking a few decisions that will cause discomfort and difficulty. Its tough life decisions, and it’s important for when we need help we turn to the right people in life who will give us honest advice that only will further help us goes the most rewarding things. Many different religions emphases on not giving into the inner devil (wimp) and give into the wrong temptations that leads us to regret. That we need to make decisions that are tough, using our intuition and sticking to the decisions that may seem incredible tough. That push our mental responsibility’s and morals reaching the best benefits.
